Wounded Warrior Family Reunion at the Lakers vs. Suns Game. Click here for the amazing story.
Our Wounded Warrior who is still receiving treatment at Naval Medical Center in San Diego, received 4 VIP tickets to the L.A. Lakers vs. the Phoenix Suns game courtesy of Pepsi. Our Wounded Warrior's favorite team is the Suns and his father's is the Lakers. His father, son and friend were flown to San Diego from Fresno courtesy of American Airlines to join our Wounded Warrior.
Although our Wounded Warrior's favorite team, the Phoenix Suns lost to his father's favorite team, the L.A. Lakers, he had a great time out with his family.
True blessings are never planned. Due to lack of airline flights, our Wounded Warrior's family needed to fly out one day early. The one extra day allowed our Wounded Warrior's father to assist his son as our brave Wounded Warrior was fitted for his first pair of new legs.

Annette Coppock is a member of the El Camino Quilt Guild in Oceanside, California. The El Camino Quilt Guild consists of over 200 member from all over San Diego County. Within the guild, Annette belongs to a group of women who make patriotic quilts all year long. They give over 1,000 quilts a year and have for several years now. Each quilt is designed with a large pocket to hold cell phones and ipods.
Recently, a Wounded Warrior was so touched as she looked at her quilt, tears came to her eyes and she asked if she could say something. She sang "America the Beautiful" in the most beautiful voice ever heard.

Alexis, an eleven year old daughter of one of our Wounded Warriors is a very special young person. She has taught herself to play Beauty and the Beast on the violin just by listening to the song on the video.
Alexis volunteers her talents by providing free violin lessons to children that want to learn.
Special thanks to Tom Versen of T&T Creative for creating this video so that we can share Alexis' talents with everyone.
